You Can Be Part of Our Village
You Can Make a Difference
The Children’s Safety Village is always looking for reliable volunteers to help in a variety of ways. We have the need for people to assist staff in planning our fundraising events throughout the year as a part of our Events Planning Committee. This committee meets monthly to discuss, plan and prep for the upcoming events. Currently we are in need of volunteers to:
Coordinate children’s crafts
Coordinate Photo opportunities
Be event helpers at each event
Assist in promoting events throughout the community
Assist in planning the events
Landscaping (mulching, weeding, etc.)
Grounds keeping (mowing, shoveling, etc.)
Need Community Service Hours? Student volunteers can count their volunteer hours toward their community service requirements. You sign up to help at an event and bring the school volunteer hours log with you. We will sign it that day.
The Children’s Safety Village also partners with the Foster Grandparent Program and RSVP. These 2 programs provide volunteers to help with classes, events and more. For more information about these 2 programs, click the link below:

Ashville Fire Department and the Chaut. County Fire Police Association are two groups who help us tremendously with all of our events and have helped us to clean up the grounds and set up for events.
